Fabric-paper is a hybrid of quilting and collage, using both gluing and sewing techniques to create images.  I start by painting and staining sheets of tissue paper, then laminating them with other materials to muslin or printed cotton with diluted glue. The resulting material, fabric-paper, has all the strength and stitchability of fabric, and is as easy to work with as paper.
