All New! For those of you who took The World is Your Sketchbook, this is the same format, but new content.
This workshop offers a challenging, yet fun, creative workout each week, with a prompt that will have you bubbling beyond the confines of your comfort zone, for a truly expansive experience. The Sketchbook becomes a state of mind or a practice, rather than a stack of pages bound at one edge.
Each week you will make ten exploratory studies in response to the prompt as you what-if your way through multiple possibilities, using paint, collage, drawing, and more. Experimentation and curiosity are key to gaining freedom and fluidity in your art, and the sketchbook is your playground and laboratory. Don’t Make Art In Your Sketchbook! Make marks, pose visual questions, try variations on your theme, and experiment. You will find the more you let go and play, the more ideas you will discover.
This workshop is open to artists of all levels, though it’s best if you have some experience with your materials.

(We skip 2 weeks in March).
There will also be a private Cluster group for this workshops so we can share our work.
